Getting started with IsoGuild
A place for isometric games and the people making them. Players and creators are welcome, whatever engine you use.
Accounts and posting are invite-only during the pilot. If you have an invitation, use Sign in with the invited email address. Public registration is not open yet.
Find something worth following
Browse Games and tools, filter by genre, engine or interests, and switch between grid and list views. Each project links to its creator and official download or store page. IsoGuild does not handle purchases.
Invited members can upvote, follow creators or projects, and save a project for later. Follows and saved lists are private; following does not sign you up for email.
Make yourself at home
Open My profile or Creator studio to add your name, bio, avatar, banner and social links. The visual editor previews changes before you save.
Choose a palette or add custom HTML and CSS. Your design stays inside your page canvas; it does not replace the site navigation. A profile becomes public after its first approved submission or forum post.
Share a project
In Creator studio, choose New entry → Project. Add a clear summary, cover, categories and an official link. You can also import from Steam or itch.io, review the imported details and edit them before saving.
Save draft keeps work private. Submit saved draft for review sends that saved version for review. Changes to an approved project remain private until the revised version is approved.
Keep people in the loop
Once your project is approved, add a Devlog for development stories or an Announcement for a demo, release or meaningful update. Both stay linked to the project behind them.
Use screenshots, uploaded GIFs and a YouTube link to show what changed. Explain the benefit first, then the details and requirements. Submit each saved post for review.
Join the conversation
The forums are separate from project listings and updates. Choose a board for recommendations, feedback, playtesting, art, programming or general discussion.
Reply, quote and follow a topic to receive in-site reply notifications. Unsaved text is not a posted reply. Keep a copy of long work before closing the tab.
Help keep the guild useful
Read the community principles. Credit work honestly, describe what is actually available, and keep promotion relevant. Upvotes are community reactions, not verified reviews.
Use Report on a project, post or creator page if something needs attention. For a forum post, look under its secondary menu. Reports are private. Site ownership and financial support never buy better ranking.
